I build systems that hold up under real use — and interfaces people actually enjoy.

I'm a South African software engineer and full-stack developer, currently in my final year of a BSc in Information Technology at North-West University. My focus sits at the intersection of enterprise backend architecture — clean architecture, CQRS, domain-driven patterns — and modern, considered interface design.

I care about the parts most people skip: proper error handling, scalable folder structures, code that a teammate can read in a year without messaging me first. Software should be both functional and beautiful, and I don't treat those as competing goals.

Outside of shipped work, I'm deep in cloud platforms — Azure and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure — and AI-powered tooling, with the long-term goal of becoming one of Africa's leading software engineers.

Contributing to the development and maintenance of enterprise-grade applications using ASP.NET Core (.NET 8), Angular, C#, Entity Framework Core, and SQL Server. • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services using ASP.NET Core and C# • Build full-stack functionality using Angular and .NET technologies • Implement CQRS patterns with MediatR to support scalable and maintainable solutions • Design and develop business modules following Clean Architecture principles • Configure Entity Framework Core entities, relationships, and database migrations • Implement object mapping using AutoMapper • Work with SQL Server databases to support application requirements and data integrity • Contribute to modular application development through SDK-based integrations and service abstractions • Participate in Agile development processes including sprint planning, code reviews, testing, debugging, and Azure DevOps workflows • Collaborate with senior engineers to deliver secure, scalable, and maintainable software solutions
